Spread the love

Growing up, I was always self-conscious and had various struggles with my #confidence. As a teen with many insecurities, I used to always research ways to improve my skin in order to boost my confidence; when my skin felt good, I felt good!

Over the years, I have experimented with numerous skincare finds including natural #skin-care products (I will do a blog post on this soon). However, I’ve noted how ridiculously priced most were. Some of the higher-end products were sometimes just packaged nicely, yet the product was of low quality and certainly not doing what it states on the label!

Hence the reason why I am always on the lookout for more #affordable high-quality products. Don’t get me wrong, sometimes I do scour the web to find good deals on some of the most sought after products on the market.

This post may contain affiliate links. That means if you click and buy, I may receive a small commission at no extra cost to yourself.

Below are some of the skincare finds I have implemented during the past few months. All can be found on amazon and under the £30 range, it’s a win-win if I say so!

1. Jade Roller and Gua Sha Set

I cannot recommend this set enough!! Both absolutely #amazing and yes you will notice the immediate difference to your face as soon as you use the set. My favourite thing about using these tools is the fact that my face glows and so I feel #confident enough not to use foundation.

Use the jade roller in the morning and WOW you will notice that pesky swelling we get when we first wake up in the morning significantly reduced. The Gua sha tool used with a serum of your choice improves circulation thereby revealing a radiant yet smooth skin. Together you will certainly notice a more #glowing and #contoured face. I would highly recommend investing in this set and implementing this in your daily #skincare routine.

2. Embryolisse Concentrated Milk Cream

I have been using this moisturiser for over 4 months now and I have repurchased it twice from both Beauty bay and Amazon. It’s a multipurpose moisturiser which can be used as a primer, moisturiser, overnight mask and cleanser. I have been using it to keep extremely dry areas on my combination skin hydrated and moisturised. As someone with combination skin, I suffer from an oily t-zone yet extremely dry patches around my mouth/chin and cheek areas. With this moisturiser, my T-zone is actually not affected much and my dry patches are completely #hydrated.  Overall it gives me a nice dewy #glow. One of the reasons I highly recommend purchasing this is because, it’s #affordable and effective. I’ve tried a few high-end moisturisers and this one thus far tops them all!!

3.  Collagen Eye Mask

I love love love these eye gel masks, my under eye is immediately lifted, whilst puffiness and dark circles are reduced. I like using this eye mask whilst listening to a nice podcast; because you do need to allow it to settle into your skin for about 20 minutes (gives me a nice chance to recharge after a long day). The pack comes with 24 sets of eye gels, I did actually come across this accidentally because I purchased them to add to self care goody bags for a baby shower (such a great idea), and I haven’t looked back since- it’s affordable and certainly effective!!!

4. Generation Skincare Vitamin C Serum Face Cream with Hyaluronic Acid

I can not rave about this serum enough. It is affordable and it does exactly what it says on the label!! I have been using this with my Gua sha tool daily, and wow my face is much brighter- especially as someone who usually has dull skin. It has certainly reduced my smile lines (one of my pet peeves) and it adds onto the extra #hydration my skin needs. And on days when I do apply foundation my skin looks flawless!!

5. Sonic Facial Cleansing Brush and Face Massager

I know that I have been going on and on about how much I have been loving the products I had mentioned in the blog, however, this cleansing brush tops them all- I LOVE THIS!!!

I’ve used a Magnitone which retails for almost triple the price and it has just been sitting in my cupboard for months (Don’t get me wrong it is a good product). However, I prefer this cleansing brush much more; since it’s uncomplicated to use- because there are no extra (fiddly) attachments, and it is very hygienic since its easier to clean- my skin feels smooth and clean instantly due to both the exfoliating and cleansing motion.

These products are merely based on my own opinions and I do understand that we all have differences. I am in no way, shape or form a skincare expert, however, I do love trying out and discovering new and innovative skincare products especially at an affordable price.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my blog, If you have used any of these products or if you will try any do please leave a comment and let me know what you think.
